This is sickening. Everyone is making this a race thing. It’s not a race thing. It’s a police brutality and excessive force problem. Even now with the tear gas and armored trucks, it’s excessive. Mike Brown was a black male. Would there be riots if it was a white male? They need to stop victimizing themselves. I’m so over people pulling the race card. Look at everyone rioting now! Majority of them are black. They’re victimizing themselves and want to complain when the police taunt them back. Those people rioting want to complain about the kids getting gassed. Maybe you shouldn’t have had kids out there? Like this is the common sense that people lack that pisses me off. It’s a huge shame that Mike Brown was killed and the officer should AT LEAST have his gun and badge taken away and charged. But this is not a race thing. It’s a police brutality and excessive force problem. #wakeup #mikebrown #ferguson #overit #policebrutality #darrenwilson #irritated #notaracething

it’s still a race thing. It’s still very much a race thing.

Explain….
Is it because the guy was black? Do you know how many young black males are shot everyday? Is it because all of those percentages that black males are racially profiled? What about the percentage of young black males in our jail and prison systems? Or is it because you THINK the white cop shot the Mike JUST because he was black? The cop chose excessive force instead of simply arresting him. You don’t know any details of the shooting. You automatically think the cop is a racist but that’s ignorant of you.

so you’re saying that this situation would have had no difference if the cop had seen three white guys walking down the street?
the fact of the matter is simply that there is a predisposition on african americans from law enforcement that has created this situation. The fact that the officer acted in the way he did because of how he profiled mike brown in it of itself makes it a racial issue. There are more than enough eye witness accounts of the murder that show the tell tail racial signs. All you have to do is look at the history of how police treat minorities and it’s obvious that there is a general attitude of predisposed distrust of african americans, which, if officers were acting correctly, should instead be an unbias attitude.
innocent until proven guilty. This has been far from the attitude used by law enforcement, and the death of this 18 year old is just the most recent in a long line of racially driven acts of police brutality.
so please, tell me it’s not an issue of race, and that if I had been walking down that street that day, that I would be dead, because I’m pretty damn sure that cop would’ve let me keep walking without doing a thing.

You can’t base how you would act on how he acted. Where you there? Did you know him? Every situation is different. Yes there have been racial fueled situations but you can’t automatically assume that this situation is. Yes police have been unfair in the 60’s but this is not the 60’s. A LOT of African Americans hold grudges from a time era that they weren’t even alive in. No one wants to take blame for how they act towards police. When cops enter a situation its almost always a calm manner. But then the “possible suspect” gets smart and gets amped up and that amps up the cops. From instances I’ve witnessed, it’s always because the suspect started taunting the cops first. But that doesn’t give the cops the right to use excessive force.
Would all this be happening if the cop was black? Would everyone be rioting about racism if the cop was black?
There was just a report saying that Mike was shot 6 times. TELL ME THAT ISNT EXCESSIVE!

what are you even arguing? Seriously, I can’t tell if you are trying to prove my point, or disprove it. Is there an issue in law enforcement that goes beyond racism and pertains to the base attitude of police believing themselves above the law? of course! but that does not in any way make this not an issue of race.
I really can’t say much more however, because as I said, I can’t tell if you’re trying to argue a point, or are just grasping at straws. What the cop did was excessive, and his actions were driven from racial profiling, and a racial bias. That makes it a race issue. If this happened and the cop was black, things would have been different, however we would still have a dead 18 year old. However here we are with yet ANOTHER instance in modern day america where an african american was murdered by a white cop in a situation where excessive force and profiling was used.
that makes it a racial issue, I have no idea what else you are looking for here.

How exactly do you know that this was race driven? Were you there though? Just because history “says” it’s race driven doesn’t mean this is out of racism. Did you witness the whole thing? Or are you just listening to the media? I’d rather wait until I hear facts before I start screaming racism. Even still, I won’t think this is racism unless I hear the cop say that he doesn’t like black people. Just because statistics say it’s automatically a race driven shooting doesn’t mean you know exactly what happened that night. You have to be simple minded to just assume because the cop is white and the suspect was black.

Its not race driven yet when white people actually do some dumb shit such as shoot up a movie theater and are now known criminals and should be feared they aren’t shot on sight instead they simply get arrested and are considered “mentally unstable” and everything is all good but a black kid walks down the street and is automatically a target and shot because he could’ve “been up to no good” (Trayvon Martin) or “amped the cop up” (Mike Brown). Yeaaah its definitely not about race you were so right!
P.S-If you want me to make the list of guilty white people who got off and the list of innocent black people who have been murdered longer i can definitely do it for you.

When someone randomly shoots up a theater and kills 12 people and many others were injured, there is DEFINITELY something wrong with that person. And you can’t even compare this to Trayvon. That was pure racism. I bet you didn’t even follow the trial. Florida has a law called ‘Stand Your Ground’ meaning if you feel like your life is in danger, you’re allowed to use deadly force. Unfortunately, he was protected by the law. I think before you start comparing shootings, you should really think you should understand know the facts, or have common sense. ;)

Smfh you missed the complete point of the comparison. Lol “common sense” bitch please if anyone needs to use it its you! This white cop shoots and kills this black kid and is protected gets a paid leave AND decides to make up a bullshit story to go along with it. One that doesn’t make sense. One that he is be defended for. He’s racist and a fucking pig. So are the other cops there in Ferguson because they defended the KKK when they had come down there instead of protect the protesters who have every reason to protest. But hey everyone has there own opinions even if yours is shitty. I better be careful next time i go outside though don’t wanna “amp the cops up” with my blackness :)
P.S-If its not a race thing then give me 5 white men who were killed unnecessarily by the cops off the top of your head. Cause i can give you at least ten black people WITHOUT using google.

You poor soul. Clearly you’re just an angry person for your use of the name you called me and I don’t even know your name. You want to compare this specific situation to every single other shooting? You have a simple mind. You don’t want to use your brain. Where the hell is the report saying they support the KKK. How is getting his eye socket broken, bogus? How is a concussion, bogus? How is going for the cops gun, innocent? I’m not saying Mike Brown deserved to get shot. I’m just saying it isn’t about race. It’s about ignorance. This is because a cop was being an asshole. NOT because of his skin color. And I just gave you explanations for the examples YOU gave.

IT’S BOGUS BECAUSE THEY ARE LITERALLY LIES… I really don’t get how you can argue like this when you don’t even TRY and find any facts on this story… i mean… they exist, and they aren’t hard to find. Yet, here you are arguing away on a topic. He never suffered a concussion. The story was PROVEN false, and he went to the hospital HOURS AFTER IT HAPPENED with “minor face swelling” There’s video of him standing over the body and pacing for hours, without any sway, or trouble standing. You can’t fucking do that if you’re concussed. Going for the cops weapon is also a story that was put out by the police department, but proven extremely unlikely by other evidence, and the story was then changed by the department.
These are all things that are easily found, and yet here you argue points that are literally false.
ALL of your examples lie upon false claims and false reports.
Maybe you should look more into this before taking a stand, because pride and ignorance are an awful combination that never lead to anything good.

Oh word? I can’t have opinions now? Whatever though. Idec anymore. You’re still mad. I’ll still believe in what I believe. You’ll still just be an angry person. Idgaf. Keep complaining about a situation, it won’t change what happened. Waste your energy. I truly do not give a single fuck anymore. ✌💋

sure you can have an opinion, but to draw it from falsities and further it on fallacies and you end up without a leg to stand on. You seem to be under the impression that we’re all mad because you have a different opinion, when that is very far from the case. We are angry because it’s people who have based their opinions on lies that are tarnishing the facts and true events that have happened here. Mike Brown could’ve been the worst human being to ever live, but that doesn’t change the militarization and mistreatment of citizens by the police in light of the protests that followed.
The fact that you no longer care simply because your pride refuses to admit you’re wrong is actually apart of the problem. As long as you are living in this country and are a citizen, this is a problem that affects you. So go ahead and believe everything Fox news, CNN, and the Police department has put out about the Mike Brown murder, but if you for a second think such willful ignorance will save when the day comes that police militarization brings totalitarianism to your doorstep, you’re gravely mistaken.
So are we angry? Yes. As well as we should be, and to let that fade away will only serve to fuel the next great event bigger than the last, until finally it’s too late.
Ignorance is easy, I get that, but it has only ever been a binding force, and not a liberating one.
As I said before, ignorance coupled with pride doesn’t not make for a good combination.

No. I truly do not give a shit. Is it fair what happened to him? No. Will I still believe this isn’t out og racism? Yes. Ferguson is predominantly black. The odds are unfortunately going to happen the way it has. But I say this from the bottom of my heart, I do not give a single shit.

Oh and most people have their kids out there because the cops blocked off a lot of streets preventing people from going anywhere. Maybe you should actually read up on shit and pay attention if you did you would've known that.

My answer:

Sooo then why were there kids standing out in the protest? Just because one road is blocked off, doesn’t mean the whole town is shut down. Theres always alternate routes. There were kids IN the protest. Theres no reason why they should’ve been out there in the first place. I don’t feel sympathy.

Anonymous Asked:
How isn't it a race thing? Peaceful black protesters are being harmed but when white people walk around with fucking armed guns at the Bundy ranch and threaten to shoot the cops nothing happens no military shit is brought in #You'reWhitePrivilegedAss

My answer:

Hater. ;)

Forreal though. You’re probably an angry black person. If you’re going to hashtag #You’rePrivilegedWhiteAss at least have the balls to take yourself off anonymous .

My “privileged white ass” is just as much of a racist comment as you’re trying to make me out to be. But honestly, my “privileged white ass” hates anyone who victimizes themself, anyone who is ignorant or arrogant or any or all types of assholes. So it has nothing to do with race.

Another note, idec about the situation anymore. I’ve stopped watching the news cause it’s just so ridiculous so anything anyone has to say from this point on, can just avoid any of their time being wasted.

I think before you start comparing shootings, you should really think you should understand know the facts, or have common sense. ;)
